Verses that defines Christianity attitude as a Christ follower.

 This is only for educative purpose to make you understand which are the verses that expresses the will of one and only God, Jesus Christ, what you should act like and be like to be considered a faithful follower, and the verses I also consider to be true to the word and the original word of God or close to it.

   Verses I want to share, but there are at least 100 : 

1.  Galatians 5:14: “For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’”

2. Proverbs 31:8-9: “Open your mouth for the mute, for the rights of all who are destitute. Open your mouth, judge righteously, defend the rights of the poor and needy.” 

3. Mark 10:45: “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.”

4. James 1:27: “Religion that is pure and undefiled before God the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.”

5. Ephesians 4:2: “Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.”

6. Micah 6:8: “He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?”

7. Romans 12:18: “If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.”

8. James 3:17: “But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.”

9. Galatians 6:10: “So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.”

10. Matthew 7:12: “So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.”

11. Exodus 22:22: “Do not take advantage of a widow or an orphan.”

12. Jeremiah 22:3: “Thus says the Lord: Do justice and righteousness, and deliver from the hand of the oppressor him who has been robbed. And do no wrong or violence to the resident alien, the fatherless, and the widow, nor shed innocent blood in this place.”

This is the true word of God and my favorite verses comes from the Mark and James testaments.

I really recommend you not to only read Bible, but put some things inside the practice that can help you to really come closer to the Lord - Christ and help the World to become a better place in the name of him, so do doing the God work.

Some people might agree that the Bible sometimes is hard to read, as some verses aren't written in easy, understandable writing, but it is worth to read and analyze them and put it into use to find the real answer to it.
